Wanna frag Bazajaytee?

user

Ok the boys at dice sent this over as its CEST you would wanna be keen but if you were:

"If there was an opportunity for you to knife the developers of Bad Company 2, you wouldn't resist right? Imagine having DICE dogtags in your collection. At least five of them.

Well, now is your chance. Go ahead and make it happen. The Game with Dev event is now coming to PC and we are bringing five DICE -players with us. Always wanted to knife Demize99? How about blowing Bazajaytee up with a Carl Gustav? Epic roadkill on zh1nt0?
Other players are Romeo DICE (special guest) and Stormonster.
The time of this event will be Wednesday the 28th of July 18:00 - 22:00 CEST.

Servers will be announced as soon as the event starts. This is to make sure everyone has a chance to jump on the servers as soon as we start.
In order to see where we are playing, check out our twitter channels:

So, take some time off work, leave the children with someone else, say goodbye to your significant other because this Wednesday is going to be awesome."

League of Legends

user

League of Legends is an RTS style game which was developed and published by Riot Games. The game was first announced on the 7th of October, 2008, and was later released on the 27th of October, 2009. It was placed into a closed beta from April 10, 2009 to October 22, 2009, later being placed into an open beta until released.

League of Legends is played with Champions that you get to buy with influence points or riot points. You then get set up with people from all over the world, or you can team up with your friends and take on the premade queue. Either of these will put you into even team of 1-5. The object of this game is to destroy the enemy's turrets, inhibitors and then finally their nexus. To level up and win this game, you have to kill their minions (NPC's that spawn in periods of time and attack the opposing teams minions, and champions. You can also level up by killing creeps that are located in the jungle (look below) and you can also gain buffs from some of the higher strength creeps.

Yellow - Lane
Red - Jungle

Before the game starts, you get to choose which champion you would like to play, what runes, masteries and your summoner spells. But I will get more to them later. After choosing all of those things, the match will begin and you will be able to purchase items that will help you in-game and help your team. After choosing your lane that you would like to be in, after 1:30, minions will spawn, and will run down each lane until both yours, and your opponents minions meet up and start attacking each other. To buy more items, you need to obtain gold, now you get a little bit of gold over time, but you also get gold for killing a minion, or 'last hitting' a minion. You can also get gold for killing an enemy champion, if you gain first blood 'first kill of the round' on a champion, you will gain a gold bonus. The items that you can buy will give you bonuses in stats, give you gold and most items can be built into other, stronger items that will give you bigger bonuses. Destroying turrets and inhibitors will also give you and your team gold and experience points 'exp'.

Experience points are what level you up, each time you kill or around a unit on the opposing team gets killed, you gain exp points. Gaining exp points will level you up and you will be able to level up a skill that your champion can use. Level 18 is the hi...

CG-M/I First Match Info...What to Expect.

user

Hello,I wanted to write this to prepare all the CG-M and CG-I teams for their pre-season matches. As you all know this is CG.USA's first official set of matches since it's release in the US. I put together a few catagories below to answer any questions I can for you guys....Anti Cheat:The AC program can be downloaded here: http://www.easyanticheat.net/EasyAntiCheat.exeOnce you have unzipped it place it on your desktop and open it up. You will see a series of flags. Pick the USA flag and then select CyberGamer.org Once you do that you will see CyberGamer.org pop up in your toolbar saying connected. Open your COD4 client. Go into Multiplayer options and disable Punkbuster. Once this is done connect to the server. If you have problems connecting to the server please check below:> Make sure all your anti-virus software is turned off. > Make sure your not running any overlays or 3rd party programs that might be interfering with our AC client. > Make sure you aren't running PB and that your connecting to the proper CG match server. We seen random issues in testing that include using a space in your name could trigger a client drop. If your dropped by the client you will be kicked from the server. Although this issue has been resolved during beta test...you never know if something as quirky as this might fix your issue. Servers and Connecting:As you all know all match servers are run by CG. We setup your server with a specified map and password for your match. If any of the match server information seems to be incorrect like password, ip or map please contact a admin for correction. Players are not permitted to play matches without being in a sanctioned CG Match server due to the AC client not working on other random servers. Your AdminsHere is a list of admins that can assist you with your needs along with their contact info:TellyHead COD4 CG-Main Admin Email: Telly@cybergamer.orgXfire: tellyplIRC Channels: #Binary #CyberGamer Ventrilo: CG.USA Ventrilo ServerInuHead COD4 CG-Main Admin Email: inu@cybergamer.orgXfire: inu666IRC Channels: #CyberGamer Ventrilo: CG.USA Ventrilo ServerHillHead CG USA Director // CG-I COD4 Head AdminEmail: Hill@cybergamer.orgXfire: chrishillIRC Channels: #CyberGamer #Cod4professional #51 #Cod4inviteVentrilo: CG.USA Ventrilo ServerAC Staff is anonymous so they will not be listed. Out of this World: Why Area 51 N. Iowa can win CG-I

user

As the competitive Call of Duty 4 scene stands now, there are three teams recognized as the dominant teams and the forerunners for a league or LAN championship. The standout teams in the top 10 of CoD4 CG-I are (in no particular order): pureEsports, coming off of their CEVO March Madness tournament victory, Loaded, who always puts forth a strong showing no matter the occasion, and vVv, who has the chemistry and history of playing together absent in many of the current competitors. Yet, despite the challenge posed by these powerhouses of CoD4, Area 51 Northern Iowa have positioned themselves to be a dark horse in this first season of CyberGamer NA CoD4 Invite.

CG Team Spots (2) Left.... Payments, Schedule and map info.

user

Hey all, Some info on upcoming deadlines...
Open CG-Main Slots:
Just wanted to let you know that we currently have 1 or 2 teams spots open due to teams dying/breaking up. If a team would like to be moved into cg-main to take over one of these spots please have 5 members on your roster in the CG-Open Ladder. From there we will move you into league play and allow you to pay. If you need to contact me please feel free at Hill@CyberGamer.org
Payment Deadline:
Teams in cg-i or cg-m must have 5 paid members to guarantee their slots in the league. If teams are not paid by Friday 6.18.10 they will be subject to possible removal from league play and replaced with teams on the waiting list. Two team slots opened up this week due to teams dying but those will be filled by this evening once I've had a chance to confirm two teams on the waiting list ready to pay. Let me know if you have any questions.
League Start date and Maps:
We plan on starting the league regular season on the same week as cevo or possibly the week prior. This is to make the transition of playing two leagues easier for the players to deal with. If we run the same MOTW as CEVO we won't need to put the pressure of prepping for two different maps in one week on teams competing in both. We will release the map rotation once CEVO releases theres. If you have any questions on this please let me know.
AC:
A few members of the community have participated in our AC alpha and beta testing. As of yesterday we have worked out all problems related to connections, servers and authentication. We are happy to say that testing stages are now over and our AC will be ready for download as early as this Thursday. Please note that our AC takes the place of PB so all matches will be played on CG servers which are located in Chicago, IL. This way you do not have to shut down or remove PB from your servers just to play your match. Again we look forward to releasing our AC client to you this week.
If you guys have any questions please feel free to post here and I will do my best to answer them for you. Sorry for the formal posting again but we got to get the information out to the masses.
-Hill

Welcome to CyberGamer USA

user

Welcome! CyberGamer is a FREE website dedicated to competitive online gaming. We supply users from PC and console (Xbox360 and PS3) with ladders, leagues, forums, file libraries, galleries and much more.

For the last 3 years we have been leading the online gaming scene in Australia. By providing a home for communities built around many competitive games and allowing these communities to grow, interact, mix and merge we continue to build and improve online competition and the online experience for gamers in general.

Today we are expanding into the U.S! We are kicking things off by selecting Call of Duty: 4 and CounterStrike: Source the first two games we'll be supporting. Expect more games & platforms to be added soon!

In the mean time, you can start getting a team together and joining the following ladders:

* Call of Duty 4: CyberGamer Open (CoD4:CGo) -
* Counter-Strike Source: CyberGamer Open (CSS:CGo) -
Expect these ladders to be unlocked as soon as we have enough teams.**

After a successful season of each game, we will add pay-to-play CyberGamer Invite Leagues in addition to each of the ladders.

If you are interested in applying to become a game admin or moderator for any game (even those we don't support yet), please PM me:
/inbox/1/USA%20Application.

We look forward to many good games ahead!

Thank you & Welcome.
