Dignitas In An Effort To Help Thailand Through CoD4

How to get Esports recognized not as a nerd-only activity, but more like a sovereign sport with actual importance? By giving out to charity. That is exactly what Team Dignitas are doing with their Call of Duty 4 5on5 S&D Cup, through which they want to help out the victims of floods in Thailand in their own way - by giving the main prize of £200 to the Thai Red Cross.

The charity tournament that is capped to 64 teams will be played out November 6th, with the check-in's opening at 16:00 CET and closing at 17:00 CET. Considering the team limit, we suggest you to sign-up as fast as possible for a chance to help out people in need. To sign up, one must make a comment on the original newspost with their name, nation and IRC nickname and are expected to idle #dignitas.cup @ QuakeNet 30 minutes before the start of the tournament.

October’s torrential flooding in Thailand has claimed hundreds of lives, displaced hundreds of thousands of residents and directly and indirectly impacted thousands of businesses. We want to support the Thai Red Cross who are helping people in Thailand recover from this disaster.
