Undoubtedly the match to watch of the two play-offs, both sides have a number of well known players with excellent track records. CoD legend Trigger will be under the spotlight as he looks to lead his side up a division and with the experience of his German compatriots Moe and Smithz, known for their time in TBH.MSI, many will expect them to claim victory.

But Xtothed have a few veterans of their own who will no doubt be determined to stop the German onslaught. With Filsuu, ztk and ex Reason player Eplotic plying their trade in CoD4 for sometime now, coupled with decent activity, they will certainly be no pushovers come tomorrow evening.

Player to watch: Trigger
Prediction Xtothed to claim a gritty win 2-1

The next game sees a Dutch/German contingent come against a mix of multi-nationals. Both sides lack the big-name stars that we all know in the other CGa play-off but are not to be underestimated as they managed to rack up a sizeable amount of points between them in the CGa 2nd season, with Rave-on finishing above the other two and Decerto.

All the players involved will know this is their chance to make a name for themselves. And Wednesday's clash will see both teams battling it out for the chance to be one match away from the big stage, where they could look forward to playing teams like WiLD,BallerS and eMpathy.

Player to watch: pronic
Prediction: Decerto to pull away with a comfortable 2-0 win

Mark both games down in your calendars in what promises to be an exciting two days!

well played d.tt goodluck in cgm.

pronic says:1:49pm 24/4/12:

CyberGamer is a fucking joke, can't even think of one valid reason to let mercs play in PROMOTION play-offs. CBFA d.tt didn't deserve to win at all.
You call this league professional, my arse.

nreo says:10:31pm 25/4/12:

CGa allows you to add players whenever you want as long as they are not in CGi and CGm. Rules may change for playoffs next season.

But don't try and undermine the hard work behind the scenes that allows the Cod4 online activity to flourish.

I'm afraid all you're doing atm is making yourself look like a complete twat - and that's hard to reverse.

bengal says:11:34am 27/4/12:

What nreo is saying is right by the rules in cybergamer, but I suppose the 1 slight error was the players not being on the roster.

I think maybe new rules should be put in place next season so that when the ladder is locked you can only make one addition to the line up.

But we (rave-on) were lucky to be in the playoffs finishing 8th and wont let losing to d.tt in the final get us down or break us up. We lost to better players and we'll learn from it. We will be going to more LAN's throughout the year with the same lineup and hopefully get top 5 in cga and gain instant promotion to cgm.

As for the admins they haveo a hard time running this ladder and for what ? little reward and a lot of hassle, rather them than me.

Now let's all stop going on about what happened last season and in the playioffs and let the admins tweak the rules and get the best ladder cod4 has seen started again. It may take time but it will be worth the wait.

Good luck to all the promoted teams.

Peace
