Q: Since this is a league website, people by now are thinking how do I add my guid on the website?

A2: The other way that could happen is playing a league match here on the cybergamer website, the website will then ask you to start the game through the website, this is too stop 'freelancing'/ 'id faking' but is also a feature to make adding GUID's easier espescially for people who have no knowledge on the aspect and are new to the scene.</sub>

Seeing as the site will keep a database of recorded matches/teams players/players guids and ip. It will be a centralized database to keep track of cheaters and what not.

Q: I suspect someone of cheating what do I do?

The cheatdatabase will be checked with Game-Violations aswell in the near future

so you basicly join a public server and if you play on that server for a random amount of time your guid will be saved on this site ( you obviously join the server via this site ) ?!

Yes and no. You can join a random public server and if its linked on this website then after a certain time of playing your GUID will be added to your account based on IP. So then its not necessary to start the game through this website, the only thing is that the server has to added to the sites database.

No you wont have/need multiple guids, you will just get multiple IP's on your account.

When playing a league match here on CyberGamer you will have to login with your account on the website and start the game. This is an other functionality that will verify you together with your GUID if you have a dynamic IP.

There is no list for this available afaik. (I could ask jeremy if a list of some sort is possible) But for now people could posts IP's here after adding them at: www.cybergamer.org/addserver.php?game=cod4 . I am unsure of how long it will take to proces a newly added server and or a player joining a CyberGamer affiliated server.

my brother plays from the same ip as me, but he has a different guid.
can this cause any problems when he joins a cg linked server?

It shouldn't be a problem.
(If something does go wrong, you can always use the support function and ask an admin to fix it quite easily)
