You don't have to pay, that was the asshole who started it.

There is a new group of guys, who are much better.
Check this thread out:
www.itsmods.com/forum/Thread-xKMod-Competitive-Mod-BETA-v2-9.html
It's still not perfect, but the guy has made some great changes, and shows potential.

Hopped on a BO server for the first time in months to play, and it was surprisingly, ok to play with this mod.
I encourage you to give it a go....

I'll always <3 CoD4, but this is not bad!

is there alrdy a promod for bo?

Yes there is. It's called XKMOD and it works just aswell as Promod does for CoD4. Has improved the game by a lot!!!

Yes, but one has to pay to play (stupid lol)

You only have to pay for the mappacks, but no leagues or ladders uses them. Only stock maps

Glad to see some positivity towards this!

Yeah exactly, as I said I am a CoD4 guy, but I wouldn't mind hopping on some organised PUGs of xKMod every now and again for a change. Pub xKMod is just as bad as Pub Promod >.<

Are there any main Advantages Over xKMod?

Just wondering, as I have only played xKMod and would like to play which ever is superior. I amn't in one of the camps yet, so if XKPromod is better I will jump on the Band Wagon!

Well i have to be honest and say, that i haven't bought a single one of them. Considering it, but i don't really feel like throwing money after something that i my oppinion should have been free. However i wouldn't be surprised if a couple of them could be used competetive. Only problem is, you really can't expect or force people to buy mappacks to enter a tourney.
