Can your router limit your download speed ?
I'm not clued up when it comes to this side of stuff, but my thought would be it could ?

Just thinking this as i have this network monitor, and it says im trying to download 600kbps and more but im actaully only downloading 150/200kbp/s.

If not, what could be restiricting me ? or is i simply my isp being a whore ?

My current router is a BSkyB DG934 G Router. Sky standard issue basically.

Information would be helpfull ! Thanks

Your router can restrict your inet. If it's ******* up, it might holding some of the inet instead of dealing it all out to your computers as well as others in the house.. Our old one did that.

First thing to do is check your Internet speed on your router. Normally something like http://192.168.1.1
Should be on the back of it, if that doesn't work.
