Nvidia 560ti and MSI Afterburner

Well basically when i overclock my card on the MSI Afterburner program if i put it to high my screen goes black for a few secounds and everything resets.
Does anyone know why this is? Thanks

EDIT: I just got a direct x error when trying to go on cod after putting the clock values up

I've got exact the same GPU and same program as you. I raise all the clocks and it's fine. Have you tried installing latest NVidia driver? (uk.geforce.com/drivers) And tried using the latest version of Afterburner? Also it could be you're raising it too much.

Just leaving suggestions.

Thanks yeah will try doing the drivers. If i put the core clock higher than 1000 it happens

Your card can't run that high, drop 50mhz off and you should be fine (If the temps aren't too high)

But honestly though, have you not read up on which results other (and more experienced) people are getting with it??
