Wanted to make a thread for discussion on champs weaknesses and how to counter them to maybe give an insight to other players on what to do if u play vs them

Now i know it all depends on the roll, e.g being Mid solo laning duo laning or jungling so ill try be as specific as possible

What are ur opinions on how to counter

1. Solo Lane Morde with Spell vamp
2. Galio When your using an AP champ
3. Orianna Mid full ap

Post your opinions lads also if ur intrested in other champs just post and ill see if i can give u any advice

You pick your counters at the champion select screen so we can leave the mid and builds aside, you should counter his build by your biuld.
if they have heavy AP you go MR
When they have lots of CC you buy Merc/tenacy or even Quicksilver sash
When they have massive AD you buy Armor
etc.

(resistances are useless without health)

You can counter a morde by keeping him away from minion waves so his shield stays down.
in teamfights ignore him until you finished of their carries, if he biuld AP/tank then your ****ed for letting him feed, CC and takedown.
Mainly AD champion is good vs morde is he/she doesnt get foccused

Galio When your using an AP champ
You build voidstaff and you should stay out of range of his ulti, if you do get caught init multiple times get soem Tenacy or Quicksilver Sash, let AD carries or off-tanks handle galio you should focus the squishies.

Orianna Mid full ap
Insane range means you'll have a heard time early game if she is any good.
mid to late game any nuke would do just make sure shes busy with killing others so you can dodge that godforsaken ball.

In all cases its not who you should counter it with, its how you should counter it.
You need tanks to initiate and to separate their team, keeping their tanks busy, be the most disruptive as possible.
You need Nukers/Ad carries to focus the damage dealers on the other side.
And lots of CC usually helps bigtime in teamfights, CC is OPPP.

If your to consider that sometimes you have to pick first and usually people pick the Carries first and for example, i ppick anivia and get countered by orianna the counter champ cant be picked otherwise i wouldnt be able to take mid and solo lane top anivia is easy to gank

As for the other suggestions, reason im discussing how to counter champs in particular is becuase sometimes u find yourself with a team who dont know the basics of there role for example a support champ who doesnt buy items such as Heart of gold for passive income but instead steals last hits from your carries which means u cant really expect your support or AD carry to be that affective.

Personally i dont think keeping morde away from minions is as affective as u think due to him being able to keep that shield up on a single target either way. As for Orianna only real useful way to counter her is by waiting for her to use her ball and then intiating and doing some damage whilst its on cooldown

Galio is a tricky one since your magic pen is capped so no matter how much u get he will always be troublesome

And i agree alot of CC is your best option usually if the people in your team seem like bad players its good to tell them to pick champs with good CC even if champs like anivia are better based on damage or mass crowd control its better to tell them to use more noob friendly champs such as annie

What are peoples thoughts about countering udyr and lee sin

with udyr, i think your tank or w.e will need to get randuins omen and just activate it asap.

lee sin, i have no idea because he is broken, or maybe banshee's to stop him jumping on you from other side of the map.

Lee Sin is op and lee sin and udyr are both classed (imo) as tanky DPS/bruisers
they are really annoying if they jungle you really to to ward your shit up and tell your teammates to do the same.
(should really be done in every game anyway)

any kind of CC will ahlt them tremendously they are both melee so keeping them on a distance wil stop them fromg doing killer damage, a exhaust can do wonders.

Both champs have some sort of lifesteal aswell as a shield so an ignite and armour pen do wonders if your really getting dominated by either there are items ingame that reduce the healing done to a champ by a certain percentage which is really useful if u dont posess ignite other than that usually best of just focusing the DPS and trying to take them on 2v1 or 3 v1 depending on how well the fight goes

How would u guys propose countering Nocturne thats jungling
